Our cardiology service is led by Dr Alan Lack, an RCVS-recognised Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Cardiology, offering the following services:

  • Congestive Heart Failure Management/Optimisation in dogs and cats
  • Investigations into collapse/syncope/weakness
  • Investigations into arrythmias and exercise Intolerance

We are equipped with modern Doppler echocardiography facilities, 6-lead and Holter ECG capabilities, Doppler blood pressure monitoring, CT, digital XRAY and a range of in-house laboratory equipment. Whilst we do not perform interventional procedures (e.g. pace maker implantation, trans-catheter procedures), we have built relationships with specialist cardiologists meaning that tertiary referral can effectively be provided.
