Advanced Fracture Repair Cases

We see many orthopaedic cases at Dragon. By far the most common orthopaedic injury is the cruciate rupture which we have great success repairing with the TPLO technique. However, we also see many challenging fracture cases. Below are some radiographs of cases we have seen in recent years.

Cat with fractured right femur and crushed pelvis

Sacroiliac screw repair to pelvis and pin and plate repair of femur.

Dog with comminuted tibial fracture repaired with SOP plate and lag screw.

Dog with fractures to both front legs after road traffic accident

Double plating repair of left foreleg

Double plating repair of right foreleg

Dog with complicated spiral fracture to its tibia extended to tarsal (ankle) joint. Repaired with orthogonal plates (double plating at 90 degrees).
